Happy Birthday Justin!

Justin Daniel Lamb turned one on May 24th. Brian and I flew to Colorado Springs to help celebrate. Justin has grown so much since they were here at Christmas time. He is beginning to walk but is much better at crawling and climbing. He is so fearless.
Jamie and Dan hosted a barbeque dinner for Justin. Brian and I and their friends, the Pollarys and the Lossers attended(minus Dave, who was out of town). We had hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad, fruit, chips, and pasta salad with cupcakes and ice cream for dessert.
One hat to wear and one to play with.
Jamie made Justin's birthday cake. It turned out perfect for a little slugger and tasted even better than it looked.
Annika volunteered at least 100 times to blow out Justin's candle. Thank goodness the birthday boy was alright with that idea. As Dan ran the video camera, we all sang Happy Birthday, Annika did her job extinguishing the candle and Justin began inhaling his cake. Some people have a sweet tooth. All of Justin's four teeth are "sweet teeth"!After eating one and a half hotdogs, lots of grapes and half of my potato salad, Justin still managed to eat almost half of his cake. He has a great appetite. Unfortunately the resulting 'sugar high' kept him awake until 1 am the next morning!
