I took a self portrait of me and my bread! I am going to make one more batch with store bought flour and then attempt to grind my own wheat for the third batch! There is no sense storing wheat if I don't know what to do with it.

Taught by One of the Best
Using the recipe and tricks I learned last month from my good friend, Tami, I whipped up a batch of bread. The house smelled like heaven!

Two Stamp Tuesday
In honor of Carlee's 34 weeks of pregnancy........
....we did the only logical thing.
We went shopping at one of our favorite stores. After all, on Tuesdays you get two stamps on your Super Savings Card for every $20 dollars spent! We both left the store with lots of stamps on lots of cards! The girls now have Easter dresses, complete with sweaters and shoes (and many other outfits and jammies)!!

Way Over the Hill
I recently celebrated another 29th birthday. Breakfast began with cookies from Dave and Dianne....
....followed by lunch with the Diacor family at Iggy's.
Annika, Justin, Kyle, Champ and the twins sent me flowers...
....and I was honored with two cakes, one from 'Nothing Bundt Cakes' (thanks Tami and Julianne)....
....and one made by my sweet mother. 29th birthdays can be fattening!!
Thanks to everyone for everything!! I'll try to act my age this year.

Twenty-Six Years.......
....of excitement, intensity and endless joy. Happy Birthday Carlee!!
For her birthday, Carlee wanted a pair of shoes to fit her swollen feet and baby supplies. Miguel gave her the shoes and Grandma Boots, Brian and I provided some of the baby supplies. Why is it so much fun to shop in the baby department? Brian wrapped his gift with newspaper and lots and lots of packing tape. I forgot to take a picture when Carlee finally got it open. FYI, it's a Twist and Fold Activity Gym for the girls.
Three generations, soon to be four.
Carlee is not fond of traditional cake so we celebrated with cheesecake instead. Before dessert was served we enjoyed takeout from Cafe Silvestres.
Miguel presented the birthday girl with a dozen long stemmed roses. They are beautiful! Carlee was also surprised with a big box from Colorado. Jamie made adorable car seat covers for the babies as well as sending lots of Annika hand-me-downs. Fun stuff! (BTW, the face on Miguel is intentional. There are no pictures of Brian because he stays happier that way. Hey, I pick my battles.)
