Now I Know...

...where my grandsons get their love of climbing.

From their mother!!
All these years I thought the boys inherited their monkey mannerisms from their dad! I learned lots of things while visiting in Colorado Springs last week. More to follow!

Ten Months Times Two

As of yesterday the twins are officially 10 months old. Their new favorite thing is standing! Can walking be far behind?

Poor Little Lamb

Last Thursday, after a trip to the pediatrician, Kyle was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with viral pneumonia. At times like this I wish I could be two places at once!

Oxygen, nebulizer treatments and three days later Kyle was on the mend.

Kyle made the best of his hospital confinement and found fun things to do. He could only play as far from his oxygen source as the tubing would stretch. By the third night, Jamie was actually able to sleep in the very uncomfortable fold out bed in Kyle's room. Wow...she must have been tired!
We were all happy to hear that he and Jamie were able to go home today. Let's hope the rest of 2012 finds the Lamb family (and the rest of us) far from the hospital!

I Have A Door!

Since day one of my career at Diacor, almost four years ago, I have worked in the front reception area. Along with my title of Sales Associate, I have been the "Wal-Mart greeter" and "Gladys" as well. I know all of the mail carriers and the On-Trac delivery driver brought me a treat last Halloween.

I liked the double decker desk top where I could spread out my current work project. Life was good, but I didn't have a door! If I decided to take a nap at my desk, everybody knew it!

Hey look! Susan's napping again!

Straight to my left I could see offices with doors, particularly Kevin's office.

Yesterday afternoon Kevin finally began moving into the office that had been left empty since Glenn retired nine months earlier.

I am sure that by now you have figured out the rest of the story. Kevin's office door is now my office door!

And the best part is that an office came with the door.

First my own business card and now a place to nap without interruptions! Life really is good!

Explain it again

The occasion: Christmas Eve
The place: Rob and Kris' annual party
The task: Open a present

The questions: We're supposed to rip the paper? Why? How can we be interested in the present when it's all wrapped up and we can't see it?
Sophie, will you open my package? I'm going to go push the buttons on the TV.

Even on Christmas day Sophie preferred to chew on the gift tags and ribbons.

Gaby chewed on the plastic bags. I wondered why I stayed up so late on Christmas Eve wrapping the twins presents.
