Halloween 2013

October brought all the leaves from the trees onto the lawn. Gaby and Sophie loved rolling in the piles more than they did picking up the leaves.

Grandma Boots and I took the twins to a pumpkin patch just south of my house. The patch offered wagons to carry pumpkin purchases. Our wagon was full of girls. Grandma Boots gave the girls money to pay for their pumpkins. They were happy to get pumpkins and change back!

Before heading back to my house, we stopped at the McDonalds drive-up window to get lunch. Pumpkin shopping can make you hungry!

I didn't think it wise to carve our pumpkins so we decorated them with felt, construction paper and feathers instead.

Carlee thought it would be fun to dress the Lugo family as Care Bears for Halloween. Since there is a Grams Care Bear, I joined in the fun. Miguel designed the tummy pictures, Carlee printed them and I sewed them on.

We won first place under the "family" category for best costumes at my Ward Halloween Party.
